My exciting Intercambio course pairs English speakers eager to learn Spanish with Spanish speakers looking to improve their English skills. This enjoyable and interactive approach allows both learners to connect over the shared challenges of mastering a new language, often leading to laughter and camaraderie. As they practice speaking in a supportive environment, participants not only enhance their language proficiency but also gain valuable cross-cultural awareness. Additionally, friendships formed during these exchanges enrich the learning experience, making it both a fun and extremely meaningful learning experience.

Founder of Rumba Rosa, Ms. Sarah Elisabeth Rosa holds her M.S.Ed in Second Language Acquisition and has spent almost two decades as an English as a Second Language Educator in the public school systems of both New York State and more recently, Raleigh, North Carolina, with learners of all proficiency levels, ranging in grades from (K-12.)
As a bilingual individual herself who is proud to have worked with hundreds of children and families throughout her career, Ms. Rosa has seen how the research based methods all of which are cornerstone to Rumba Rosa enable language learners to acquire a new language in the most natural, fun and memorable way possible.
As an English as a Second Language Educator for nearly two decades, Ms. Rosa has proven success in helping language learners achieve their goals all the while enjoying the process and journey of becoming bilingual/biliterate in the L2.
Ms. Rosa is excited every single day to engage with her students, and just as she always has in the classroom, to make learning a language a fun and interactive experience. She thrives on seeing her students come alive in their new language through meaningful, authentic and engaging learning experiences.
It is her passion and privilege to see more individuals become bilingual in the United States, and she prides herself on being a bridge to unite Spanish and English speaking communities to come together as one.
